JOSEPH SCIABBARRASI (CEO)
Joseph is the founder and C.E.O. of La Vedette Convention Centre. Since 1983, Joseph has been personally committed to the success of the company, and today oversees all new developments in service and quality. Joseph is a graduate of St. Michaels College. He studied 'Business' at the University of Toronto, and later transferred to York University where he completed studies in Political Science. Joseph has had the privilege of being a member of the City Of York Advisory Committee, President for two terms with a Federal Constituency Riding Association of a National Party, and a Director of the Canadian Italian Business and Professionals Association. Joseph is one of the founders to the United Banquet and Foodservice Association (U.B.F.A.) and currently serves and as an Executive Director. His dedication and attention to detail is the foundation to La Vedette's Quality and Personal Service.

FRANK SCIABBARRASI (Executive Chef)
Chef Frank joined La Vedette Convention Centre in 1990, and is the company's greatest asset. He has completed the George Brown Culinary Program, and completed his apprenticeship at The Regal Constellation Hotel under Master Chef Joseph Valanthen. Chef Frank has successfully completed the CFQ Exam, and was awarded "The Red Seal". In 1992, he was inducted as a member in the prestigious association of "La Chaine des Rotisseurs", and in 2000 was inducted in "Les Touches Blanches". Chef Frank has enjoyed his working experiences at many other fine food establishments, such as Biagio's Ristorante, King Ranch and The Vaughan Estates to name a few. He enjoys utilising his talents by creating unique gourmet dishes.Chef Frank was recently featured as a guest on The Food Networks 'Christine Cushing Live'

ANGIE STALLONE (General Manager)
Angie began with La Vedette in 1986. Her experiences at the grass roots level of the Hospitality Industry provides her with a great appreciation for personal service. In 1991, Angie left Toronto, to complete her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ottawa. In Ottawa, she had the opportunity to gain many valuable experiences at Movenpick's and the Chateau Laurier Hotel. Angie has throughout the years gained a vast range of management skills, and a vast appreciation for its role in professional service. It is her managerial skills allows La Vedette to maintain its high standard of professional service. Angie is a vital part of the La Vedette Management Team.

PAT VESCIO (SALES MANAGER) ext 320
Pat is the newest member to the La Vedette Team. He began his hospitality experience since 1976, and opened his open restaurant in Vaughan 1989. Pat’s experience include working for large foodservice establishments as well as a banquet hall facility, and acquired extensive knowledge by hands on experiences in every aspect of banquets and catering. Pat’s knowledge and experiences allows him to professionally service his clients and assist them in customizing their packages to meet their needs and goals . With his warm personality and experiences he has succeeded in comforting many nervous couples and clients. Pat has won the respect of his peers and colleagues through his dedication and professionalism. He maintains the highest standards for customer satisfaction and is recognised as a professional. Pat has brought a surge of new energy to the La Vedette family.

MIGUEL PAOLO (Banquet Manager)
Miguel’s hands on experience with the various aspects of service has given him a unique insight into managing and organizing any event. His twenty years of experience, mostly recently with the Windsor Arms Hotel and the Liberty Grand has proven to be a great asset ensuring that the smallest details are never overlooked. Miguel takes on a personal interest with each client, and his comforting style and extensive catering experiences reassures our clients of the enjoyable event that awaits them.
