THE
DESIGN
One of the most important features of all our rooms is that
they are all completely independent of each other, with permanent
walls, and not movable partitions. Each room has it's own
entrance, private lobby, and rest rooms. This provides complete
privacy for all functions. It eliminates the problem of sound
or music travelling from one room to another through any portable
partition when your having speeches, as well as any strangers
curiously dropping in, to join your event. After all, your
event is a private affair.
THE
ATMOSPHERE
Natural earth tone colours are used to decorate our rooms.
The walls are finished in a yellow gold, while the chairs
are upholstered in a champagne brocade fabric, framed in a
light metallic bronze. The drapes compliment the chairs for
continuity. The wainscoting in heritage walnut accents the
rooms and offers a rich, intimate feel. The ceiling is draped
with Champagne swaging which compliments the head table backdrop
from floor to ceiling, enhancing the romantic mood that is
created by the brass wall sconces and chandeliers.
THE
PLACE SETTING
La Vedette provides all dishes on fine Royal Doulton China.
The Royal Doulton "Capital Collection", a simple
white china without any coloured lines or logos, as to insure
there is no interference with colour or theme concepts. The
cutlery provided is the "Julliard Collection" from
Oneida. Porcelain creamers and sugar bowls, Wine and Water
Goblets, and Champagne Flute Glass, complete the setting.
FEATURES
For your guests' convenience, a courtesy phone has been placed
in each lobby.
Each
room is equipped with it's own sound system. The system provides
a TOA Amplifier for the lobby and a Bryston Amplifier for
the main hall, Technics Stereo Tuner, Technics Dual Auto Reverse
Pro Series Tape Decks and a Sony 10 Disc CD player. Bose speakers
are placed through out the lobby, hall and rest rooms to ensure
a clear sound for speeches or just background music.
For
your dancing entertainment and or visual presentation, La
Vedette & Strange Society Disc-Jockey Services, have installed
four fully intelligent lights and true surround sound system.
